Rename a folder

Microsoft Office Outlook Web Access allows you to rename any folder you create. You can't rename your Microsoft Exchange mailbox folders (for example, your Inbox).

  1. To display your folders, click Folders on the Navigation Pane.
  2. Select the check box next to the folder you want to rename, and then, on the toolbar, click Rename Button image.

Note  If the folder you want to rename is nested within one or more folders, click the appropriate parent folders at each level until you reach the level at which the appropriate folder resides.

  3. The Rename Folder screen will open, displaying the current folder name. In New Name, type the new name for the folder, and then click Rename.
